Why do we Believe in Baocare?

BaoCare Skincare is a range of 100% natural healing baobab oil serums, for the whole family. It comprises 6 unique products, each of which helps with common skin conditions you or your family are struggling with such as very dry skin, itchy insect bites, eczema, psoriasis, cradle cap, nappy rash, acne, scarring, stretch marks, wrinkles and aging skin.

Baobab Oil is known to have innate skin healing properties, thus each BaoCare product uses organic & wild-harvested baobab oil as its key ingredient. Each BaoCare serum is uniquely formulated with a blend of baobab oil and other natural skin-enhancing ingredients, which have been carefully selected for each skin condition.

The healing synergy created by combining these ingredients with carefully selected essential oils results in healing skin serum that work on multiple levels and for multiple skin types. This unique synergistic combination of botanical oils is what makes our BaoCare range so special.

a culture of caring

BaoCare is rooted in a culture of caring: for our environment, for our communities and for you. Our certified organic baobab oil is wild-harvested in Limpopo, the heart of baobab country by EcoProducts, South Africa’s first and only baobab producer. Only 10% of the fallen fruit is harvested ensuring that it is sustainably harvested and no trees are harmed in the harvesting process.

EcoProducts employs mostly women from local rural Venda communities in the area who are often the sole breadwinners of their families. EcoProducts also runs The Baobab Foundation, which sources funding to support pre-school creches. Research has established Early Childhood Development has been identified as a means of breaking the poverty cycle. Children who do not receive a strong foundation in their early development are found to be disadvantaged academically.

EcoProducts has also created the Baobab Guardians Program, a baobab tree planting initiative designed to counter the damage that livestock causes to young baobab seedlings, so preventing new baobabs from growing.
